Farewell to Tigger

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that our cat Tigger of 14 years died today.

He was an awesome cat, who loved to lay on my chest while I watched television.  He was our oldest from the litter we saved back in 1999 and was definitely the alpha male in our household.  He was a strange cat in that he loved water (would take a bath anytime) and he also loved the vaccume cleaner and would let DeLeesa vaccume his fur any chance he got.

He woke us this morning crying out and when we found him behind the couch he was paralyzed and had labored breathing.  It was 5AM in the morning and I knew that it wouldn't be long.  DeLeesa and I grabbed some towels (he has lost control of his bowels) and wrapped him up and held and comforted him till the end.

We loved him dearly and he will be sorely missed.

Very few things hurt us like losing one of our fury friends. I’m so sorry.

I am so sorry to hear this.

Tigger was known on many a continent, and I well remember hearing stories bout him.

But Jim and DeLeesa, somewhere over the Rainbow Bridge…. I can sense BIG MAX smiling his BIG MAX smile already. Tigger will be WELL met by many a family member.

It hurts so when they leave us, tho.

    I am so sorry.
